word art

some word art I did for songs I like.

ezra pound

We learned about Ezra Pound in my English class and I randomly drew the poet's name in my notes. It came out looking pretty decent.

narLOL

anyone who has read Johnny Wander knows there are a surprisingly large number of animals this works with.

Pasqualo from 'It Hurts!!'

It Hurts!! is one of my all-time favorite things on the internet (and probably the reason a lot of you are here). John Perazza is one crazy-talented mad beast of a mofo and deserves all the spaghetti. You can and should read It Hurts!! here. This is a drawing of the main character, Pasqualo.

Shrooms

Drew this in freshman art class. I think it turned out lookin' pretty sweet!

Science

I made this as a cover for my EnviroSci folder. It's not especially well-edited, since I spent less than 5 minutes on it (30 seconds to apply the auto-contrast tool in Photoshop and 3 minutes to adjust the smart sharpen settings)

Brain ache

I drew this in French class a few months ago. Come to think of it, it would probably make a pretty cool graphic tee...

Canker Blossom Mascot

More groovy fan art. This is for a band called Canker Blossom. They have 2 albums, and this one is free, although you should probably give them all of your money anyway since they're more awesome then you are.

Nodding Donkey Fan Art

I'm doing a bit of fan art here and there lately because it's a great way to get people who I think are awesome to think I'm more awesome, and also because general attention whoring. This lovely piece is for a Canadian punk rock band called Nodding Donkey. They have an awesome album you can get for free here.

Zombie poster

A cool poster I made a while ago. You can tell it was originally drawn on notebook paper.

It's me!

A self-portrait I drew Adventure-Time style. It turned out alright, but I sucked at photo-editing back when I photoshopped this so it doesn't look especially high-quality...

drug ghost

I accidentally saved this file as a JPEG so the pixels are all fucked up. Anyway, yeah, this is a ghost who is high on drugs. Presumably molly or something.

sophistication

A guy I drew recently called Dickhand Jim, based on an equally ridiculous song I wrote about a guy who shakes people's hands after jacking himself off. I know, I have such a sophisticated sense of humor.

Fascism is fun

A poster I did for North Korea. I can't say I care much for their new leader.

drarins from yesteryear

Here are some cartoons I drew for a sketchbook assignment in 7th grade loosely based on my friends at the time (not saying who).

An intro or something who cares just skip this and look at the art

Hey, it's my very own magical little blog where I post all the non-terrible art I've done! All of it is drawn on paper (mostly on the backs of school papers), photographed with my shitty-ass cell phone camera, and finally prettied up a bit in Photoshop. So yeah.

Here are the ground rules that this blog will follow.

-NO ADS EVER. Ads suck and are usually for Japanese mail-order brides or something.

-ONLY ART. I might start another blog if I feel like doing something else, but this blog is exclusively for displaying art I've created. I will, however, occasionally include links to other sites if it relates to the art I'm uploading.

-NO FANCY LAYOUT. I plan on putting minimal effort into this blog. Any background images, social media whatevers, or weird fonts will just distract from the art I'm uploading.

-NO DISCUSSION OF MY PERSONAL LIFE. Again, it's all about the art. Anything of a personal nature goes on my Twitter (@NicRenshaw).

-MY ART IS FREE TO USE. I have no desire to profit off this site or any of my art, and as such I have no problem with people using anything I upload for commercial or non-commercial use, as long as I am credited. If for some reason you want to pay me for my shit anyway, please contact me here or through my aforementioned Twitter account.
